About

I sing. I dance. I make ketubot for a living (and matching chuppot and invitations, and pretty much any other kind of art or design people will pay me adequately to do). I write songs about the absurdities of daily life. I practice, and sometimes teach, vinyasa yoga. I lead services at my synagogue. My mother calls me a Renaissance Woman, and I find this a more appealing label than “identity crisis girl,” though on certain days that label applies just as well.

If you want to get to know me through the art that pays the mortgage, wander over to ketubahworks.com (and send all your engaged friends). If you want to hear me sing, walk your mouse to melissasings.com (and buy a CD while you’re there). If you want to get a little deeper into what makes me tick, then roam around here, or at my mini-blog at ketubahworks.posterous.com.

Nice to meet you. Leave a note, and enjoy your stay!
